Corset Training

October is the month I start spoiling myself in honor of my birthday. If you read past years on my blog, you will see some examples. This year is a big one though. At midnight on Halloween I turn 50.

So what is a poor slut in a new town with no friends to do? Well, October is young yet. I am not planning anything or searching for ideas, but opportunities sometimes present themselves. I may have been known to take full advantage of opportunity… once or twice. 😉

I will still spoil myself rotten all month long though. Well, when other people’s realities aren’t imposing upon my own. Those times are rarer these days, but I managed to figure out a way to make myself feel fabulous even when life isn’t just all about me.

I decided to buy myself a nice leather corset this year. I have always wanted one. I have played with a few cloth ones before that weren’t the right fit on me, or very cheaply made. They were still fun, but they weren’t for me. I deserve better!

I did some research and fell in love with one from Orchard Corset. Their website also has lots of well presented information on choosing, fitting, and wearing corsets. I ordered mine and educated myself even more while I impatiently waited for it to arrive. I didn’t have to wait long though. The shipping was lightning fast!

I learned that wearing a corset is a long term relationship. I need to start slow, take it easy. We need to get used to each other. It takes time to get the right fit. Going too fast can hurt us both. Patience is the key.

Dammit, I suck at patience!

When it arrived, I opened it right away. As I unwrapped the beautiful paper, the scent of the leather wafted out. I smelled so good! My first touch immediately became a full fondle. The soft lambskin felt absolutely wonderful. I wanted to put it on right away, but I couldn’t. I wrapped it back up and put it on the shelf. At work I was distracted with thoughts of it. I could barely wait to be able feel it again. I wondered how it would feel it on.

As soon as I could, I locked myself in the bathroom and hooked and cinched it on. I felt quite awkward and clumsy, but it was our first meeting after all. Even if I wanted to pull its strings as tight as I could right away (and I did), I definitely need more practice to do it alone. The best I could do on my first try was simply snug, but that is as far as I needed to go.

I tied the strings and looked into to mirror. Instantly I felt stronger, taller, prouder, and sexier. I felt protected and caressed by the leather. I never wanted to take it off. With every movement, it felt more like it belonged on me reminding me to stand, sit, move, and bend properly keeping my back straight. By the end of the recommended initial two hour break-in it felt even more comfortable. The instructions said to take it off. I went back into the bathroom to do so. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Of course I slept with it on our first date. That’s just the kind of impatient slut I am. What better way to become one? In the morning there was no regret, and happily my normal backache was gone. I felt fabulous!

I can tell this is the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship.

  1. Hey, embrace that 50, kid! Beautiful look, and I love the color with your red hair, gorgeous. Looking forward to more corset photos. Happy Birthday!

  2. The corset looks really lovely on you! Interesting to read that you have slept with it. I thought that might be uncomfortable, but am intrigued that your backache was gone…

I love my corsets. The red velvet one is my favourite. I have also found that the longer you wear them the more comfortable the get. Not sure I could sleep in one though but is interesting about your back ache. For me, taking them off, always feels like a relief for about 1 minute and then I miss that intense hug and want to put it back on again

It looks wonderful on you…I, too, am curious about the backache being gone. I find that my chronic low back pain eases when I wear a well-fitted corset during the day. Never tried overnight. Intriguing!

  5. Lovely photo . . . I love the way your red hair highlights the black!!!
Intrigued about your backache cure . . . I always find sitting, or lying down, difficult to manage for too long. Perhaps I’m having it tied incorrectly!!!

I do love corsets, they’re so beautiful and the embrace they give you is superb. I’m not sure I could sleep in one but maybe they would do my back some good too!

This is so lovely! I will have to read up on Orchard Corsets site for advice, I love the look of them but have yet to be comfortable wearing them. Maybe i haven’t practiced enough, or maybe I need a higher quailty one like yours. It really is gorgous.
